Oh How I Loved Her

Today marks the 1 year anniversary of my Great Grandma Hagen’s passing. She died the day after her 97th, Saint Patricks, birthday. She was someone that I loved being around, and who I loved to go visit. She was so full of life, even at 97 years old! She made a killer dessert called “white trash” and had a beautiful garden in her backyard. Her house sat on a hill in Mission Viejo, California and her backyard had a killer view! I remember visiting her once and for breakfast she gave me orange juice and milk in what looked like wine glasses, I was in heaven! Her last major outing was to come to my wedding. I am so happy she did, because that is the last time I saw her. She died 5 moths later. I loved her with all of my heart, and I miss her dearly. I look forward to seeing her again someday. I love you Grandma Hagen.

I love this post! Grandma was such a sweetie. I'm glad I was able to spend a few days with her not long before she passed. Beautiful pictures.
