On Saturday Cami, and Hailey and I had a very fun girls night! It was filled with yummy Pasta and Pazukies, and a very different form of a chick flick (aka Tristan Isoland?). Regardless, it was fun! On the way home, I saw this huge pillar of smoke. The closer I got to my house the bigger it got, and finally I saw the flames! So I decided to go check it out, as I was driving the fire trucks were right behind me. I pulled into the neighborhood right behind the fire, and this is what I saw. DSC_3810 DSC_3804 DSC_3808

I heard some of the local neighborhooders talking, and this is what I gathered. It was a total of 3 houses all still in the framing stage, so that is a plus from the horrible situation. It was a sight to see, not a good one at that, to literally feel the heat and hear the flames crackle. I heard the glass shatter and watch the frame fall. The firefighters had it under control quite quickly, thank goodness because there was a fully built house right next door. It was crazy to watch the flames turn to amber and for the air to be full of this deep red smoke. I am just glad no one was hurt. I decided to leave once the smoke started to fill my lungs. If you see the reflection of the house, I was just right on the other side of the little lake. I have never seen anything like this before, I am just glad no one was hurt!
